Copgrove (Yorkshire)

It is interesting to compare the enigmatic figure on the church at at Copgrove (left)
with a Romano-British rock-engraving to the N of Leeds. The latter is thought by English Heritage to be a
representation of a deity with the Romanised name of Cocidius.
