Burgesbeg (Tipperary)
Now in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin, this is a truly grotesque
figure, with teeth bared (in agony ?),
gourd-like breasts, and a rib-cage almost as prominent as her vulva.
Like several other Irish figures she passes one hand beneath
one thigh and the other one over a thigh to pull at her pudenda.
